"Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;
for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."
-1 Peter 1:13-16
I can safely say that I'm stressed over thursday's presentation on typography.. Even words make me stressed now, printed or otherwise. (Serif & Sans-serif.. Do you know how it came about? ;D hehe)
It's nice to work with Eileen who stresses me out, tho. I think we work nicely together, cos she gets things done ^^
But anyhow, the gospel is just amazing. We did the 2nd study of Just Looking. And the passage on the bronze serpent really struck me, now.
God doesn't take away these struggles,
but He has already provided a way out..
On His terms.Just Looking still reminds me of Liyue, whom we did the studies with 4 times :\ hahahaAnd, I've come to realise how important rest is. Not for the sake of slacking, contrary to the norm's perception. Rather, resting takes discipline.
And at the end of the day, with a million and one physical, affectual and cognitive reasons and explanations and analysis for the benefits of rest...
Rest is still good, simply because God instructs us to.The tricky part is not to go on to the overview of Ezra, about the 49 years that the people failed to keep the Sabbath and how God punished them. [49 years * (365/7)weeks.. Which is 7 years. Thats the number of years God cursed the land. And why man started devising various forms of trades and intellectuals to sustain themselves. Numbers have a way of sticking, somehow. Hahaha) Well, that really isn't the point. LOL
Okay, back to work.
So that I can rest (:
